  1. This is an executable file compressor DIET ver.1.44.
  2. In its TSR mode DIET is a versatile compressor of DATA files and
  3. even device drivers. The minimum space DIET needs in its TSR mode
  4. is less than 1.7KB. You may use EMS memory to store DIET.

  6. Without using extra conventional memory, you may pack your
  7. files, executable, device driver, autoexec.bat datas and
  8. overlays. And DIET unpack everything when you need them just
  9. automatically.

  11. With switches you may automatically let DIET compress everything
  12. you create or everthing you once DIETed. You just forget DIET is there
  13. and have your storage space saved.

  15. This is a free software from Japan. Well tested with DOS5.00 for
  16. task swappings and file handling. This is another concept in
  17. file compression technology.
